Boys in our culture are LOST. Boyhood is a state of perpetuity where boys are blocked on every side by sexual confusion, gender identity, effeminate AND toxic masculinity. The media portrays men as buffoons and idiots while boys look for models to emulate in a fatherless society.
Only the community of men can affirm boys in the pursuit of biblical manhood. Our goal is to help our sons and other boys to reach a level of spiritual maturity to embrace and enjoy the sense of masculine responsibility.
To that end, we have established TABERNACLE; a weekend retreat that affirms and promotes manhood in boys through the community of Christian men. The heart and soul of this weekend is a series of ceremonies that help mark a boy’s journey in this process. But the weekend is also filled with fellowship and competitions that promote manhood and community.
Besides the ceremonies, there is also one class that each age group attends. These classes are taught by the men who are present and all relate to an approved curriculum that promotes the spiritual development of boys into biblical manhood.
